Class 07
Entering the Kingdom
Multi-Lesson Series & Curriculum
Entering the Kingdom of God is a very serious matter. Jesus said to the Pharisee Nicodemus in John 3:3 “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” The prayer of salvation is just the beginning of us being able to “see” God’s Kingdom. Jesus also said in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
In the modern Church, the message of “born again” is preached as the first and final stop to enter the Kingdom of God. According to Scripture, this is not the truth. Countless of Jesus’ parables and direct teachings show us there is far more beyond a prayer. We must be willing to lay down our lives and do the will of God at all personal cost to ourselves. In order to enter the Kingdom of God, you must truly be transformed by the renewing of your mind and bear the fruit of repentance by changed speech and behavior.
In this BKC Discipleship class, Entering the Kingdom, we teach how to actively enter the Kingdom of God in your daily life in a practical way. This is the most intense course of the entire Discipleship program because everyone is required to confess and promptly take visible action to start overcoming bad mindsets, negative speech, behaviors and more. We cannot “see” much less effectively do God’s Will for our lives unless we intentionally surrender to His way and commands.
In this class and curriculum, you receive the great knowledge of what it will take you to enter the Kingdom of God. Anything ungodly in your identity, personality, and character will be exposed by God so you can truly repent and move forward in obedience. The shocking reality is there are many things you’ve adopted as “just how you are” that stand in the way of God’s Will for your life; even things that may look “reasonable, good, and satisfactory” in your own eyes.
Entering the Kingdom of God is a grueling process of intentional change to transform how you think, speak and act. Only then can we effectively obey Him who died for us.
